Gosh, I'm really surprised! I thought Syngonium and Caladium were the same, but apparently I was wrong. Are they actually the same?
I understand why you thought they were the same plant. It's common to mix them up. Syngoniums are vining, climbing plants, while caladiums are grown in a clump on the ground and won't climb.

Emmm I think ... Syngoniums are a plant that grows from unique little roots called "adventitious roots." On the other hand, caladiums are grown from tubers.
I think these two plants are different, if you look at the pattern and color on their leaves.
